Sir: In the case report by Gerlis and Anderson (British Heart Journal, 1976, 38, 108), the authors are not correct in saying that there is no previous description of imperforate Ebstein's anomaly of the tricuspid valve. In 1973, we reported a case of Ebstein's malformation of the tricuspid valve with complete obstruction to the tricuspid valve orifice, i.e. atresia (Rao et al., 1973). The associated lesion
